HANDLING, USE AND DISPOSAL 

CAUTION:
Only a trained technician, wearing protective clothing and using a respiratory device, should clean up chemical spills because failure to properly handle or dispose of toxic and hazardous materials may result in harm to the environment, personal injury or death. Consult with a properly trained staff safety person or chemical expert before attempting to absorb an unidentified substance. This product only absorbs, it does not neutralize the pH or reduce the toxicity or hazardous quality of the material it absorbs. For information concerning the chemical content of GREEN STUFF® Absorbent please refer to our Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

Disposal of this product after it has been used to absorb toxic and hazardous materials must comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding proper handling and disposal. GREEN STUFF® Absorbent may be used to clean up spills involving the chemicals listed on our chemical compatibility guide. The chemical compatibility guide may be updated from time to time. If you do not find all of the specific chemicals involved in the spill on the chemical compatibility guide, DO NOT use GREEN STUFF® Absorbent to clean up the spill.
STORAGE 

GREEN STUFF® Absorbent should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area. This product is non-flammable, but will support combustion by direct contact with open flame or exposure to temperature in the range of 600? F. To extinguish a fire involving this product prior to it being used to absorb a chemical, use a foam, carbon dioxide or dry chemical fire extinguisher or water. At all times, avoid breathing smoke from such a fire and utilize full protective equipment, which has a self-contained breathing apparatus. To extinguish a fire involving GREEN STUFF® Absorbent after it has absorbed a chemical, the method for extinguishing must comply with acceptable methods for extinguishing a fire involving the chemical absorbed. DO NOT place GREEN STUFF® Absorbent in a microwave.

The manufacturer and seller give no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the quality or fitness for any particular purpose, or any other matter. Manufacturer and seller shall in no way be responsible for the use, handling and disposal of the product prior to, during, or after use or for any liability arising from injury or death or harm to the environment. Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing provisions, manufacturer’s entire liability, and your exclusive remedy, is replacement in like quantity of any defective product at no charge to you. Replacement does not apply to any misuse or mishandling of this product.
FIRST AID INFORMATION

WARNING: THIS PRODUCT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON CONCENTRATED NITRIC ACID (>40%), ORGANIC PEROXIDES, CYANIDE SOLUTIONS AND SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE (>8%). 

Refer to Chemical Compatibility Guide and Safety Data Sheets for more information. Avoid methods of cleanup that will create excess dust when using the absorbent. Dust/vapor may cause irritation to the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. 

EYE: Immediately flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention, if irritation persists. SKIN: Wash with soap and water. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. CAUTION: Always wear proper protective equipment when handling/cleaning up any hazardous material.
