Unusual Fire or Explosion Hazards: Finished material is not flammable, in that it does not burn with an open flame. It will support combustion if it is ignited by direct contact with an open flame or exposed to temperatures in the range of 600 F. If material is placed in a microwave for an extended period, it will begin to burn. Combustion occurs at the center of the brick and due to the insulating effect of the material, can proceed unnoticed until an appreciable heat build-up occurs.

Stability: Stable.
Polymerization: Hazardous polymerization will not occur.
Incompatibilities & Conditions to avoid: Cyanide solutions, concentrated nitric acid (>40%), sodium hypochlorite (>8%) and organic peroxides. Use method that does not create dust. 
Hazardous Decomposition Products: Not determined. Under fire conditions, product may decompose to give off irritating fumes of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide.

Primary Entry Routes: Contact and inhalation.
Target Organs: Eyes, skin, and respiratory system. Unlikely that material can be ingested in large amounts.
Carcinogenicity: IARC, NTP and OSHA do not list any component of this product as a carcinogen.
Chronic Effects: Not determined.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Dust/vapor may cause irritation.
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash skin with soap and plenty of water.  
Ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. Keep respiratory passages clear.
